Returns Policy

At Opulence Rugs, we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we offer a simple 14-day free returns policy.

1. Change of Mind Returns

​

  • You have 14 days from the date of delivery to let us know you wish to return your rug for a full refund.

  • Return shipping is free within this 14-day period – we will arrange collection and cover the cost.

  • We cannot accept returns for change of mind after this 14-day period.

 

2. Condition of Returned Rugs

​

  • Rugs must be returned in their original, unused condition and with all original packaging.

  • Please ensure rugs are clean, undamaged, and securely wrapped for return transit.

  • We reserve the right to make deductions for any loss in value if the rug has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it.

3. Damaged or Faulty Items

​

  • If your rug arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs.

  • We will arrange a free collection and offer either a full refund or replacement.

  • Faulty or damaged goods are covered regardless of the 14-day return period.

 

4. Refunds

 

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5–7 working days to your original payment method.

  • Original standard delivery charges will be refunded in accordance with EU Consumer Rights.

 

5. Exceptions

 

  • Custom-made or personalised rugs are non-returnable unless faulty or damaged on arrival.

1. Introduction

2.2. You must have the opportunity to review and correct errors before submitting your order.

In compliance with distance selling requirements, before you complete your purchase, we will clearly provide:

  • Total price (including VAT and delivery charges),

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1. Prices include applicable VAT in Ireland. Delivery costs are added at checkout.
4.2. Payment must be made prior to dispatch using the methods displayed at checkout.
4.3. We reserve the right to cancel orders if payment fails or is not processed.

 

5. Delivery

5.1. Unless otherwise agreed, we aim to deliver within 30 days of the order confirmation.
5.2. If we cannot deliver within this time, you may:

  • Agree on a new delivery date; or

  • Cancel the order and receive a full refund within 14 days of cancellation notice.

6.5. You bear the cost of the return unless we stated otherwise in advance.
